Arsenal interested in Havard Nordveit
Borussia Monchengladbach star Havard Nordveit has been linked with a possible return to Arsenal.
The 25-year-old failed to make the cut to the Gunners first-team and opted to join the Bundesliga outfit in 2010.
Nordveit has since then played a huge role in Monchengladbach's progress, and now sees his side competing with some of Germany's elite clubs.
Sky Deutschland reports that the Gunners boss Arsene Wenger could jump at the opportunity of landing his former player as he seeks to cover up the loss of Santi Cazorla and Francis Coquelin in midfield.
It is added that the FA Cup holders are likely to face competition from German champions Bayern Munich as well as league rivals Everton and Leicester City for the player's services next month.
Arsenal are also known to be closing in on a deal for Basel midfielder Mohamed Elneny.
