Chelsea to appoint Mark Hughes?
Stoke City boss Mark Hughes is one among the leading candidates to take over the Chelsea head coach role in the summer.
The Blues will be on the look out for a new manager after interim coach Guus Hiddink completes his job this season.
Recent reports have suggested that the Blues could be tempted to bring in one of Massimiliano Allegri or Diego Simeone at the helm.
However, The Mirror understands that former Chelsea player and current Potters manager Hughes has been added to the club's shortlist for the vacancy.
Hughes' Stoke City are currently ninth in the league standings with 33 points.
