Chelsea winger joins Malaga

Chelsea winger Christian Atsu has joined Spanish side Malaga on loan for the remainder of the season.

The Ghana international linked up with Chelsea from Porto in 2013, and has since then failed to make a single appearance for the Premier League holders.

Atsu was recalled to the Blues earlier this month following a barren spell at Bournemouth, where he made just two cup appearances.

It is now confirmed that the versatile attacker has agreed on a temporary move with Malaga for the remainder of the campaign.

Malaga are currently placed 12th in La Liga.
