Felipe Caicedo on Everton radar

Everton are eyeing a move for Espanyol striker Felipe Caicedo, Spanish source Fichajes claims.

The 27-year-old is said to have attracted interest from several Premier League clubs this term following his impressive showing in La Liga.

According to Fichajes, the Ecuador international has neglected the chance to move to China with interest high from the Premier League.

It is added that the Toffees are leading the race, and look set to trigger the player's £7.3m buy-out clause before the transfer deadline.

The former Manchester City man has netted eight goals for Espanyol this season.
