Patrick Bamford joins Norwich City on loan
Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford has joined Norwich City on loan for the remainder of the season.
The 22-year-old was expected to seek a temporary move away from Stamford Bridge following an unsuccessful stint with Crystal Palace during the first half of the campaign.
It is now understood that the young marksman has agreed to link up with the Canaries on a short-term deal until the end of the season.
I'm really happy to be here, and the sooner I'm able to get involved the better. That's what I want to do personally, but it's also about helping Norwich to get the points required to stay in the league," he told the club's official website.
Bamford is known to have rebuffed offers from the likes of Wolverhampton Wanderers, Queens Park Rangers and Middlesbrough for a move to Carrow Road.
