Clement Chantome to Leicester City?

Leicester City are said to be eyeing a free transfer for Bordeaux midfielder Clement Chantome.

The 28-year-old had been the subject of multiple bids from the Foxes in January, but Bordeaux were not keen on his sale.

However, with Chantome's contract up at the end of the season, Claudio Ranieri's side are confident of finalizing a pre-contract with the midfielder, French source L'Equipe claims

It is added that the Foxes are likely to beat several other Premier League sides to the player as they are currently top of the summit.

Chantome joined Bordeaux from Paris Saint-Germain in January 2015.
