Higuain unlikely to join Chelsea

Argentina international Gonzalo Higuain is likely to stay put at Napoli beyond the summer, as per his agent.

The 28-year-old has been constantly linked with a move to the Premier League with the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea deemed to be interested in his services.

However, according to his brother and agent, Higuain will neglect the chance to join the West London side as they are more likely to miss out on Champions League football next term.

He added that his client will be happy to remain in Naples, provided they close in on a place in Europe's elite competition.

Higuain joined Napoli from Real Madrid in 2013.
