Leicester City scout Mitroglou

Leicester City are understood to be keeping tabs on on-loan Benfica striker Kostas Mitroglou.

The Greece international joined Championship side Fulham from Olympiakos in 2014, and has since then struggled to make any kind of impact in England.

Mitroglou is currently plying his trade with Benfica, where he has redeemed himself with a string of impressive performances in the Primeira Liga.

According to Portuguese outlet O Jogo, Foxes scouts are closely monitoring the 27-year-old, with a view to acquiring his services during the summer transfer window.

The talented striker has notched 17 goals in all competitions for Benfica this season.
