West Ham United are weighing up a summer bid for Arsenal attacker Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, sources reveal.

The England international has been in-and-out of the Gunners line-up over the past year, and this is said to have caught the attention of several European clubs.

A report from Metro understands that the Hammers are keen on developing into a top Premier League outfit once they make their move to the Olympic Stadium.

It is added that unsettled Gunners midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is among the top names in the club's shortlist for the summer transfer window.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has made just nine league starts for Arsenal this term.
