Arsenal in Havard Nordtveit talks

Arsenal are in talks to bring former graduate Havard Nordtveit to the Emirates this summer. The Norway international is in the final months of his contract at Borussia Monchengladbach.

German sports daily Bild reveals that manager Arsene Wenger is keen on re-signing his former player, who was highly regarded during his four-year spell at North London.

The report adds that the FA Cup holders have began talks over a potential Bosman switch to the club next season.

Nordtveit has the ability to play at either centre-back or holding midfield.

The 25-year-old has racked over 150 appearances for Gladbach since his move from Arsenal in 2011.
