Sunderland to sign Emmanuel Eboue?
Premier League strugglers Sunderland look set to offer short-term deal to former Arsenal defender Emmanuel Eboue.
The Ivory Coast international is a free-agent following his release from Turkish side Galatasaray last year.
Eboue had been training with the Black Cats in recent weeks, and it appears he has done well to earn himself a contract.
Sunderland Echo claims that manager Sam Allardyce has decided to offer a deal to the experienced campaigner after he impressed for the Under-21 side against Leicester City last night.
Eboue amassed a total of 214 appearances for the Gunners between 2004 and 2011.
