Spurs open Pochettino talks
Tottenham Hotspur are eager to provide a new contract to manager Mauricio Pochettino following an excellent second season at the club.
The Argentine head coach was recruited from Southampton last season with a view to taking Spurs to a new level in the Premier League.
According to The Mirror, the 44-year-old has caught the eye of the likes of Real Madrid through his brilliant transformation job at White Hart Lane.
The report adds that Spurs' hierarchy are well aware of the impending interest and have began talks over a contract extension with Pochettino.
Spurs are currently second in the league, five points adrift of leaders Leicester City.
