Atletico Madrid target Ander Herrera

Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera is reportedly a top transfer target for Atletico Madrid during the summer transfer window. The Spaniard is also being closely watched by Italian giants Juventus.

The 26-year-old joined the Red Devils from Athletic Bilbao in the summer of 2014 following an impressive showing in La Liga.

However, he has struggled to replicate his form in the Premier League, and this has forced him to warm the substitutes' bench on several occasions.

According to The Mail, the former Bilbao star is among the leading names who could bid adieu to Old Trafford at the end of the season.

It is added that La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid have expressed interest in Herrera, but could still face stiff competition from Juventus, who are on the search for a new central midfielder.

Herrera has made 34 appearances in all competitions for United this term.
