Arsenal plot Morata bid

Arsenal are preparing a mega-offer for Spain international Alvaro Morata. The 23-year-old has struggled to attain regular gametime at Juventus this season, and has been widely tipped to seek pastures new in the summer.

Morata had been strongly associated with a siwtch to the Premier League before he opted to join the Old Lady from Real Madrid two seasons ago.

OK Diario claims that Real Madrid are most likely to exercise their £22m buy-back option on Morata this summer after he developed into a top player in his time at Turin.

The report adds that the Bernabeu giants would be willing to sell off their graduate therein with the Gunners believed to be readying a £50m bid.

Morata has had a tough time in the Serie A this term with manager Massimiliano Allegri favouring Paulo Dybala ahead of him for the centre-forward role.

The talented forward has made just 13 league starts for his club this term.
