Man Utd chase Florenzi

Manchester United are the latest club to express interest in signing Roma's utility man Alessandro Florenzi. The 24-year-old has caught the eye of the likes of Barcelona and Chelsea through his impressive showing in Serie A this season.

The Red Devils are expected to ring in the changes in midfield this summer following yet another frustrating campaign in the Premier League.

Sources reveal that the Mancunian giants will start off their spending spree with a bid for Florenzi, who is said to have the ability to play at either midfield or right-back.

Louis van Gaal's side are willing to pay a fee of around £24m for the versatile player.

Florenzi is well known for his wonder goal scored against Barcelona in the Champions League earlier this term.
