Liverpool want Oxlade-Chamberlain
Liverpool are said to be eyeing a big-money deal for Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. The 22-year-old has struggled to firm a regular place in the Gunners first-team since his move from Southampton in 2011.
The England international has failed to live up to his promise in recent seasons, and this has led to criticism from the club's faithful.
A report from The Express suggests that the Reds could launch a summer bid for the young attacker, who has also caught the eye of fellow league rivals Manchester City.
It is added that the Gunners are eager to keep hold of their prized asset, but may be tempted to cash in on his services, should they fail to accept to his wage demands on an extension.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has two years left on his existing deal at the Emirates.
