Juventus eye Benteke
Serie A leaders Juventus are considering a £20 million bid for Liverpool’s unsettled striker Christian Benteke.
The striker joined Brendan Rodger’s Liverpool from Aston Villa last summer for a fee of £32.5 million and was playing regularly for the Merseyside club. However under Klopp chances have been limited often appearing in substitute appearances, and not playing way when starting. He has thought to have fallen out with the Liverpool manager and is rumoured to be wanting a move away. The 25 year old is a target of Juventus who are preparing a £20 million bid, meaning that Liverpool would mean that Liverpool would suffer a great loss of £12 million if accepted. However Benteke still does has quality, and just doesn’t fit the way Liverpool play. £20 million is a cut price fee for a player of Benteke’s ability and with Benteke unsettled, this move looks very possible.
