Aston Villa want David Moyes

Former Everton, Man Utd and Real Sociedad manager David Moyes is wanted by Aston Villa owner Randy Lerner. The Villains were relegated from the Premier League last weekend and are now preparing for life in the Championship.

Moyes, who is still held in high regard within English football after a successful stint at Everton, is desperate to return to the Premier League and English football.

Aston Villa are hopeful that they can undergo a major summer overhaul and bring in plenty of new faces, but their first responsibility is to find the best coach to take over at Villa Park.

Villa chairman Lerner is hopeful that Moyes will be the face that will help the Birmingham based side return to England's top flight. Moyes will apparently open tlaks with Villa next week.
