Hangeland to join Fulham?

Fulham are close to signing defender Brede Hangeland from FC Copenhagen. It is believed that Fulham boss Roy Hodgson knows the player well and is prepared to pay up to £3.5 million.
The Norway international currently plays for Danish side FC Copenhagen, but is rumoured to be on his way to Fulham.
Hangeland joined Copenhagen from Viking in 2006 and is under contract with the club until 2009.
The 26-year-old is thought to be undergoing a medical in London ahead of completing a move to the Cottagers.
