Liverpool close in on Yacine Brahimi
Liverpool are nearing an agreement to sign Porto winger Yacine Brahimi this summer. The Algerian international has been strongly linked with a switch to Anfield in recent weeks.
Portuguese source A Bola claims that the Merseyside giants are close to wrapping up a deal for the winger after they agreed to pay up the player's £46m release clause.
Brahimi, 26, has been one of Porto's top performers in recent years and his addition could well provide the necessary boost to lead the Reds to a long-awaited league title next season.
The attacker has managed to amass 23 goals and 21 assists for the Dragons following his move from Granada two seasons ago.
Jurgen Klopp's side will be without European football next season after they failed to qualify via their league standings while also losing out to Sevilla in the Europa League final.
