Chelsea face PSG tussle for Lukaku

Ligue 1 holders Paris Saint-Germain are hopeful of securing the services of Everton striker Romelu Lukaku despite strong interest from Chelsea. The Belgian international has iterated his desire for a fresh challenge with the Toffees failing to progress in the English league in recent years.

Chelsea are currently in negotiations with the Toffees over a potential deal to bring Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge over the summer.

However, according to The Express, Les Parisiens could have a say on the player's future with manager Laurent Blanc eager to bolster his attack front following the departure of veteran striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

It is also thought that the French champions would be willing to pay a fee in excess of £50m, something which the Blues are reluctant to match for their former player.

Lukaku netted 18 league goals for the Toffees during the recently concluded league campaign.
