Borussia Dortmund sign Raphael Guerreiro

Borussia Dortmund have confirmed the signing of defender Raphael Guerreiro from Lorient for an undisclosed fee. The Portugal international has inked a four-year deal with the Bundesliga outfit.

Guerreiro was allowed to undergo a series of medical tests with the BVB medical staff in Paris on Wednesday after Lorient agreed on a sum for his transfer.

It is now official that the right-back has linked up with the German giants following weeks of speculation over his future.

"Raphael Guerreiro is a technically skilled player who feels in several positions at home. We are very happy that he chose Borussia Dortmund." Sporting director Michael Zorc Guerreiro told the club's official website.

The 24-year-old is currently featuring for Portugal at the European championships in France.
