Everton ready bumper deal for Romelu Lukaku
Everton are prepared to offer a new and improved contract to Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku. The 23-year-old has iterated his desire to leave Goodison Park after yet another impressive season.
A report from The Mail says the Toffees intend to keep hold of Lukaku's services and will offer him a long-term deal on wages in excess £100,000-a-week.
However, if things failed to go as planned, new owner Farhad Moshiri will put the entirety of the player's transfer fee into Ronald Koeman's kitty for the summer spending.
League giants Chelsea and Serie A holders Juventus are among the leading clubs interested in the striker.
Lukaku netted 18 goals in the top flight during the previous campaign.
