Stoke, Palace in running for Saido Berahino
Premier League duo Stoke City and Crystal Palace are set to fight it out for the services of West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino over the summer. The Baggies are likely to cash in on their player, given he is in the final year of his contract.
Berahino, 22, had been the subject of an approach from Tottenham Hotspur last summer, before the Baggies' hierarchy intervened to cancel out the proposed deal.
The striker followed to have a mixed spell under Toni Pulis with much of the focus on his failure to earn a move to North London.
According to The Mirror, the Baggies have placed their striker in the transfer market this time around amid interest from the likes of Stoke City and Crystal Palace.
Spurs have however dropped their interest in the youngster, and it will be a tussle between the mid-table clubs for the player's services.
Berahino netted seven goals in 32 outings for his club last term.
