Man Utd ready bid for Chelsea outcast

Manchester United are reported to be preparing an offer for unsettled Chelsea full-back Cesar Azpilicueta. The Blues are willing to offload the Spaniard during the summer transfer window.

Azpilicueta has caught the eye of the likes of Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain in recent weeks after new coach Antonio Conte revealed his intentions to pursue a suitable replacement.

Spanish source AS suggests that United have joined the chase to land the versatile full-back, who played a key role during the Blues' Premier League triumph under Jose Mourinho in 2015.

The 26-year-old, who is equally adept at playing at right-back and left-back, is open to a Premier League stay next season.

Chelsea currently value their player at around 12m.
