Real Madrid ready N'Golo Kante approach

Real Madrid are preparing a serious offer for Leicester City midfielder N'Golo Kante. The Frenchman has been strongly linked with a move away from the King Power Stadium.

The 25-year-old was one of the stand-out performers for the Foxes last term as they did the impossible and attained their first-ever league title.

Spanish source AS says the European champions will make their approach for combative footballer with Zinedine Zidane concerned with the lack of back-up to Brazilian international Casemiro.

Kante has a £20.5m release clause in his contract, which is not applicable to English clubs, and this paves the way for Los Blancos to secure his signature.

Ligue 1 holders Paris Saint-Germain are also in the running to land the former Caen man.

The combative midfielder is currently plying his trade for France at the European championships.
