Reported Arsenal and Chelsea target Moussa Dembele has penned a permanent deal with Celtic. Former club Fulham have settled on a £500k compensation for the transfer.
Dembele had been close to making a move to the Premier League in January with Tottenham Hotspur willing to pay out £5m for his services.
However, the Cottagers wanted the youngster to be loaned back for the season, and this lead to a disagreement which eventually put a full stop to the deal.
The 19-year-old's stay did prove to be fruitful for the West London outfit as they stayed clear of the relegation places in the Championship.
BBC Sport now confirms that the highly-talented youngster has opted to join Brendan Rodgers' Celtic on a four-year contract having snubbed an extension at Craven Cottage.
Dembele is Rodgers' first signing as Celtic boss since taking over from Ronny Deila in May.
