van Buyten keen on Magpies

Daniel van Buyten's representative has talked up a potential move to Newcastle for his Belgian client from Bayern Munich. The defender is reportedly keen to link up again with his old boss at Man City.

According to Daniel's representative Christophe Henrotay, the player is definitely keen on a move to Newcastle.

"Daniel would like to carry on doing his job at Bayern, but I have said to Kevin, 'Anything can happen, the truth today is not the truth tomorrow'," said Henrotay in The Guardian.

"And Daniel appreciated Kevin's management at Manchester City."
