Arsenal sign Rob Holding
Arsenal have secured the signature of Rob Holding from Bolton Wanderers on a long-term deal. The 20-year-old was one of the bright lights for the Trotters, who were relegated from the Championship last season.
The 20-year-old was on the Gunners radar over the past year, but it was not until last week, had the North London side lodged a formal approach for his signature.
The youngster appeared in 30 games for the Trotters last term as he was voted as the club's player of the season. He also earned his first cap with England Under-21s during the Toulon Tournament held in May.
Holding, who normally plys his trade at centre-back, is equally adept featuring in the right-back position. The Gunners have paid a fee of around £2m for the young defender.
