Gylfi Sigurdsson snubs Everton move

Swansea City star Gylfi Sigurdsson has reportedly turned down an approach from Everton. The Icelandic footballer wants to extend his stay at the Welsh outfit.
The 26-year-old had a summer to remember as his nation went on to reach the quarter-final stage of the European championships.
His stock has since risen to new heights, and this has attracted interest from the likes of Everton, Leicester City and former club Tottenham Hotspur.
The Toffees had recently enquired over the player's availability before Sigurdsson dismissed thoughts of leaving the Swans, The Sun says.
The attacker is now expected to pen a fresh contract at the Liberty Stadium as a sign of commitment to Francesco Guidolin's side.
Sigurdsson has amassed 20 goals in his second stint at Swansea City.
