Man City back in for Cisse

Man City are considering a move for French striker Djibril Cisse. The ex-Liverpool hitman has been linked with a return to the Premiership consistently in recent weeks and Bolton are also considering Cisse.

Cisse is currently uncertain of his future in Marseille, but is known to be very keen on a return to England where he was very settled during his time at Liverpool.

Sven-Goran Eriksson is preparing to challenge Marseille's resolve with an enormous £6 million offer for Cisse.

The Swede is keen to add more firepower to his squad before the end of the transfer window, and is a long-term admirer of Cisse.
