Chelsea, Arsenal interested in Marcelo Brozovic
Premier League giants Chelsea and Arsenal are in the running to sign Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic. The Croatian international joined the Nerazzurri on a permanent basis this summer after he impressed in his 18-month loan from Dinamo Zagreb.
The Serie A outfit are in a tight situation with the Financial Fair Play ruling, and they would permit Brozovic's sale ahead of Wednesday's transfer deadline.
Miroslav Bicanic, who represents Brozovic, has confirmed that there is interest from the Blues and Gunners, and the 23-year-old could find himself at a fresh club next month.
"I heard that Chelsea representatives are in Milan and that Arsenal are also prepared to sign him. Inter are pushing to sell to one of these two clubs who are prepared to pay a sum that satisfies all concerned," he told Croatian source Index.
London rivals Tottenham Hotspur have been previously linked with the midfielder, who is valued in the £25m range.
Brozovic has amassed eight goals in 52 appearances for Inter Milan till date. He was recently part of his national side that lost out to eventual champions Portugal in the last 16 of the European championships.
