Leicester ready Steven N'Zonzi bid
Premier League champions Leicester City will make a late bid to sign French midfielder Steven N'Zonzi from Sevilla. The 27-year-old has previously featured for Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City in the top flight.
The Foxes lost a key player in N'Golo Kante to Chelsea earlier this summer, and this has urged coach Claudio Ranieri to bolster his midfield ahead of Wednesday's transfer deadline.
A report from The Telegraph claims N'Zonzi is the preferred option for the East Midlands side, but they would have to match his £25m release clause to have any chance of securing his services.
N'Zonzi joined the Europa League holders last term after he had an impressive stint under Mark Hughes at the Britannia Stadium. He has previously declined to represent Democratic Republic of Congo at international level in the hope of earning a call-up with France.
