AC Milan prepared to go big for Harry Kane

AC Milan are willing to pay fees in excess of £43m to persuade Tottenham Hotspur into the sale of star striker Harry Kane. The England international has been a key player for the North London outfit in recent seasons.

Kane, who signed a fresh five-and-a-half contract earlier this year, was the subject of a failed approach from Napoli during the summer transfer window.

According to Corierre dello Sport, the Rossoneri could be the big spenders in the January transfer market after being backed by a Chinese consortium which recently took over the Italian club.

It is added that Kane is the priority target for the New Year as they bid to return to the Champions League at the earliest opportunity.

The 23-year-old has improved in each and every season at White Hart Lane, and an exit looks highly unlikely with Spurs willing to make him the highest paid player at the club.

Kane has netted 64 goals in 130 outings for Tottenham Hotspur in all competitions.
