German side Borussia Monchengladbach are willing to cash in on Mahmoud Dahoud when the transfer window reopens in January. Liverpool are deemed favourites to acquire the player's services.

The Reds are expected to track the midfielder in the coming months with manager Jurgen Klopp keen on landing his signature in the winter transfer window.

According to Italian source Calciomercato, Monchengladbach will accept offers of around £18m for their asset in the New Year, as he has £8.8m release clause which will be activated at the end of 2016/17 campaign.

Liverpool are currently heading the queue for the young attacker having previously made contact with his representatives, whilst Juventus and Borussia Dortmund are also keeping a close eye on the proceedings.

Mahmoud, who made his first-team debut in 2014, has appeared in 46 outings for his side till date.
