Rashford to be offered new United contract

Teenage forward Marcus Rashford will be offered a new contract at Old Trafford despite inking a fresh deal just four months ago. The 18-year-old has made great strides in 2016, and he is set to be rewarded for his performances.

Rashford has been a consistent performer for the Red Devils since his brace in his Europa League debut against FC Midtjylland in February.

Widespread sources suggest that Mancunian giants will table a fresh deal to the youngster as they see him as a key part of the club's plans for the future.

Rashford is currently on a £20,000 weekly salary, and an improved contract is likely to see his wages being bumped by at least 250 percent.

The youngster holds an incredible record for club and country, having scored in his Europa League and Premier League debuts for United whilst also making a similar mark in his first senior appearance for England.

He recently netted a hat-trick in his first outing for the England Under 21s, and signs are he could be a top asset for Manchester United in years to come.
