Romelu Lukaku doubtful for Norwich clash
Everton manager Ronald Koeman has suggested that star striker Romelu Lukaku could miss out on the League Cup game against Norwich City on Tuesday night. The Belgian was subbed off in the Premier League win over Middlesbrough after he suffered a minor knock.
Lukaku has been red-hot form for the Toffees this season having netted four goals and two assists in just four outings under Ronald Koeman.
The 23-year-old was forced off in the second half of the 3-1 win over Boro with Enner Valencia earning his debut, and there were signs he could be out for a lengthy period.
However, Koeman has played down injury concerns by revealing that Lukaku has a knock on his feet which would be examined to check whether he would be fit for the EFL clash in midweek.
Everton have made their best start to the Premier League campaign since the 1978/79 season after they registered 13 points in their opening five games.
