Toni Kroos inks fresh contract at Real Madrid
German international Toni Kroos has inked a fresh deal that will keep him at Real Madrid until the summer of 2022.
The World Cup winner joined the European champions from Bayern Munich in 2014, and has since been pivotal to the club's success.
Recent speculation suggested that the midfielder could be eyeing a Premier League challenge with both Manchester United and Manchester City interested in his signature.
But Kroos has had other thoughts in mind and has inked new six-year contract at Los Blancos which will see him earn wages of around £18m-a-year.
The talented playmaker has won the Club World Cup, Champions League and the Super Cup during his time at the Bernabeu.
Kroos has appeared in over 100 outings for Real Madrid notching 24 assists in the process. He is also a regular with his national side having earned 74 caps till date.
