Lewandowski yet to resolve Bayern future
Robert Lewandowski is nowhere near to signing a fresh deal at Bayern Munich, as per his agent. The Poland international has less than three years left on his previous deal.
Reports earlier claimed that the 28-year-old was on the verge of inking a fresh five-year extension at the Allianz Arena on an improved package of £13m a year.
However, agent Maik Barthel has put cold water to the proceedings by insisting the claims are wide of the mark, and he has no news regarding his client's contractual status.
Since arriving from Borussia Dortmund in 2014, Lewandowski has netted an impressive tally of 77 goals in 113 outings for Bayern Munich.
He has been on the radar of Real Madrid for somewhile, and the German champions will only hope that the striker will stay committed to the club.
Real Madrid are currently appealing a transfer ban which permits them from signing new recruits until January 2018.
