Napoli join Memphis Depay chase
Italian giants Napoli are the latest to express interest in Manchester United outcast Memphis Depay. The Netherlands international has been tipped to pursue a temporary deal away from Old Trafford in January.
The 22-year-old is not in the plans of Jose Mourinho this term, and it is widely predicted that he will be on the loan market during the winter transfer window.
Premier League side Everton have recently been credited with an approach for the Dutch attacker, but according to Tuttomercato, Napoli are set to lodge a loan offer for their own for his services.
Depay is said to favour a stay in the Premier League, but the chance of featuring in Europe with Napoli could be something hard to ignore in the second half of the campaign.
The Serie A outfit see Depay at the perfect player to lead the line after Arek Milik was ruled out for the long-term with an anterior cruciate ligament damage.
Depay has earned just 20 minutes of league football under Mourinho this term.
