Liverpool to return for Hector Herrera
Liverpool will once again move for the services of Porto attacker Hector Herrera. The Reds could not finalize a deal for the Mexican in the summer.
According to The Express, Jurgen Klopp is still keeping an eye on the talented playmaker, whom he sees as the ideal player to bolster his squad in the New Year.
The Porto vice-captain was a top target for the Reds during the previous transfer window before it was known that his agent was in talks over a move to Napoli.
However, the Serie A outfit were reluctant to match Porto's £35m price tag, and this eventually pulled the plug in the deal.
Sources now reveal that the Reds will return for the versatile player in January with Klopp looking to make the most of his side's excellent start to the league campaign.
Italian champions Juventus are also monitoring the player's situation, but the valuation remains a concern for the Turin-based club.
