West Ham face Fiorentina fight for Jovetic

Italian side Fiorentina are set to offer stiff competition to West Ham United in the pursuit of Inter Milan striker Stevan Jovetic. The Montenegrin footballer has yet to start a league game for his side this season.

Recent speculation claimed that the Hammers could have a clear route to the 27-year-old, who they see as the perfect fit to lead the attack.

However, according to Tuttomercato, the Hammers are likely to face a transfer tussle with Fiorentina, who are hoping to re-sign their former player.

Jovetic has barely kicked the ball for Inter Milan this season, but the arrival of new boss Stefano Pioli could change his current situation at the Capital outfit.

The former Manchester City man has netted seven goals in all competitions for Inter Milan till date.
