Juventus clear favourites to sign reported Chelsea and Arsenal target
Italian giants Juventus are reportedly in advanced negotiations to land highly-rated Atalanta midfielder Franck Kessie in the New Year. The Ivory Coast international has been influential to his side's bright start to the Serie A campaign.
According to Calciomercato, the Old Lady are in pole position to sign the 19-year-old midfielder after becoming the first club to lodge an approach for his signature.
It is added that the player is unlikely to break straight into the first-team, and will rather be loaned out to Atalanta for the remainder of the campaign.
Kessie, who is a boyhood Manchester United fan, has netted five goals in the Serie A this season, which makes him the joint top goalscorer among all under-21 players in Europe's top leagues.
The teenager has also become a regular with his national side having earned 10 caps till date.
