Arsenal to accept big-money offers for Ozil
Arsenal will reportedly look to cash in on midfielder Mesut Ozil, should they fail to resolve his contract situation. The German international has just 18 months left on his present deal.
The 28-year-old is said to demand more than twice of his £140,000-a-week salary and this is well beyond the range of the Gunners, who are yet to break the £200,000-a-week barrier, The Telegraph claims.
The report adds that the Gunners could be tempted to accept big-money offers for the World Cup winner, should they fail to settle terms with Ozil.
Ozil is currently the subject of interest from former club Real Madrid whilst league rivals Manchester United and Chelsea are monitoring the developments.
Apart from Ozil, Arsenal also have a hard time negotiating with forward Alexis Sanchez, who is apparently holding out for a £200,000 weekly package.
