Liverpool join Franck Kessie chase

Liverpool have become the latest club to express interest in signing Atalanta BC youngster Franck Kessie. The teenager is also on the radar of Arsenal, Chelsea and Juventus.

Kessie, 19, has been in top form for the Serie A outfit this season, and this has seen them propel to sixth in the league standings.

The likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Juventus have been credited with interest for the midfield anchorman over the past month, and according to Calciomercato, the Reds have joined the pursuit.

The Old Lady are said to be leading the chase for the £22-rated midfielder, but they could still face stiff competition from the Premier League.

Kessie, who is a full international with Ivory Coast, has been tipped to replace veteran teammate Yaya Toure in the long-term.
