Wenger: we're still challengers
Arsene Wenger has claimed that his Arsenal side can still challenge for top honours this season despite some losses in the transfer market this season. Many are tipping North London rivals Tottenham to overtake Arsenal and pip them to a Champions League spot.
Wenger has called on his young side to each take more responsibility after the loss of Henry and that his young side are perfectly capable of competing against the likes of Man Utd and Chelsea this season.
Wenger also has claimed there may be one or two additional clubs in the mix-up for the title this year.
What will be a bonus for Arsene is how well his young side has performed in pre-season against the likes of PSG, Ajax, Inter and Lazio.
