Spurs snap up Woodgate

Spurs have finally ended the long transfer saga and signed Jonathan Woodgate.

The 28 year old central defender has agreed personal terms.

"We are delighted to announce we have reached agreement with Middlesbrough for the transfer of Jonathan Woodgate," said a statement on Tottenham's official website.

Spurs have paid in the region of £8m.
