West Ham United attacker Dimitri Payet to reportedly holding out for a move to Marseille in the January transfer window. The France international wants to return to Ligue 1 for family reasons.
The 29-year-old has been the subject of strong speculation in recent days after he highlighted his intention to force through an exit from the London Stadium.
The likes of Chelsea and Manchester United have been credited with interest in the winger this month, but according to Sky Sports News, the player is desperate for a switch to Marseille.
Payet is said to have snubbed interest from numerous English and Chinese clubs as he bids to engineer a move to his former side.
It was initially suggested that he may be eyeing a move to a bigger club, but it is now revealed that the decision is solely based on family reasons.
Marseille have already made multiple bids for their former ace, but none have come close to the Hammers' £30m valuation.
