Watford seal M'Baye Niang loan
AC Milan forward M'Baye Niang has linked up with Watford on an initial loan deal. The Hornets will have the option of securing a permanent contract for the player in the summer.
The 22-year-old was expected to leave the Rossoneri earlier in the week after manager Vincenzo Montella confirmed that the player will play no part in the Italian Cup against Juventus, where they lost by a 2-1 scoreline.
The likes of Arsenal, West Ham United and Everton have previously credited with interest for the attacker, but according to Sky Sports News, it is the Hornets, who have won the chase for his services.
Niang has never lived up to his high expectations, and he could get the chance to impress up front with Nigerian duo Odion Ighalo and Isaac Success failing to produce the goods.
The former France Under-21 international netted just three goals for AC Milan during the first half of the campaign.
