Neil Taylor off to Sunderland?
Sunderland are reportedly pursuing Swansea City defender Neil Taylor as a replacement for outbound star Patrick Van Aanholt.
Van Aanholt is expected to link up with Crystal Palace for an initial £9m fee, but the move will not go through until the Black Cats find a successor at left-back.
The Mirror suggests that the Black Cats are in talks over a £3m deal for Neil Taylor whose position at Swansea is in doubt following the arrival of Martin Olsson.
The former Norwich City man was drafted straight into the line-up for the 3-2 win over Liverpool, and Taylor may find it hard to retain his spot once he recovers from a fractured cheekbone.
Taylor has appeared over 150 times for Swansea City since arriving from Wrexham for just £150,000 in the summer of 2010.
